Constant Crashing. Ive tried chrome, IE, and firefox all crash. The update came out in April 2013, but mine updated in December 2013 since that's when I bought my new computer. I gave it a few days to make sure it's stable, and it's been fine. https://forums.techguy.org/threads/solved-browser-crash-on-webcam-allow-flash-player-settings.917996/

You need to click on the Disable link for Chrome’s internal installation of Flash (make sure you disable the one located in Chrome’s AppData folder and not the separate stand-alone Flash I will look into it Reply Larry February 6, 2014 at 9:12 pm # Unfortunately, FireFox has backed itself into technical corner dilemma. As far as I can tell there ARE different versions of plugins for different browsers.

When using adobe connect, which is flash-based, and starting the webcam, the flash player crashes immediatly after allowing flash access to my webcam. the signature is pointing to a quicktime issue. Too often all the well-intention updates, upgrades, and the like send us into periods of wasting hours just to get back to normal after we use them. Nothing has changed on my system except maybe a flash version upgrade along the way?

The time now is 09:56 PM. Adobe Flash Someone responsible should be choked the ''dragon way'' to newer code crap again !!! The only problem with this setup is that if I update Flash, then I have to go back and manually replace the file under /usr/lib/chromium-browser/plugins with the old one. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/967508 Constant Crashing.

Firefox Please Help bdhaenen Oct 5, 2012 12:19 AM (in response to libflashplayer.so) Hello there,I'm having exactly the same problem as the one described above.

I just update my settings.I switched to chrome due to frequently crash. Still is it strange that established firms like Adobe and Mozilla are not working together at all it seems, this because when the one has a upgrade it seem they not Is there more than just the webcam? Please go to this page and right click the flash player version (red text) and select "settings" from the menu. Loading... Time to dump Mozilla I guess and try Chrome. D2D+ DWrite?

Disabling it would generally result in greater stability of both the browser and the Flash Player plugin.I have never had to set a Windows Environment Variable to disable the plugin container.

Please Help libflashplayer.so Mar 3, 2012 8:28 AM (in response to WhiteBoi360) ok, getting closer. Other videos (say, Google Videos) will, but Youtubes hang.

So go to C:\windows\system32 and rename it to anything for example BtwVdpCapFilter1.dll and everything should be fine. I can play games and watch youtube and everything else just fine but I just cannot use webcam or it crashes.I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling... Browsers are crap also web developing and coding is also crap and i wonder how come that no one is seeing this. For some reason Chromium is also playing Youtubes which Opera and Firefox did not.

The question then, how do you do this "local flash version override" for Chromium, Rekonq, Opera, or any other browser?? Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 5. What's really weird about this all is that this somehow must be related to a library file or files or some hardware detection component elsewhere in the system, as Firefox 12 My current version is Adobe Flash Player 9,0,124,0.

I don't use the webcam a lot with Flash, so I can't remember where exactly in the sequence of flash updates/Firefox updates/kernel updates this happened. Mousemonkey August 5, 2010 9:46:07 PM This topic has been closed by Mousemonkey Can't find your answer ?
