I hope everything goes smooth in this transition from 5.3.1 to 6.1.1 as I've heard several horror stories about the upgrade. I would recommend you find an install disk with SP1 already on it. The Windows service pack 1 files are named Windows6.1-KB976932-x86.exe and -x64.exe depending on 32-bit or 64-bit OS. Not many out there, but there are enough that this should be remembered. I definitely need to upgrade to PT 6.1.1 from 5.3.1 and SP1 is mandatory. I'll install SP1a & SP2 and that should be just fine.

SP2 was cumulative and could be installed on gold or SP1 systems, SP3 required at least SP1a.
