Specifically it didn't start happening until I downloaded Nvidia's dealio and now I have 2 new icons that show up as well that is super annoying. But ever since I stopped using it, I can't right click anywhere on my program bar! Clicking Volume/Search/Start icons seem like they are going to work (flashing hourglass), but now do nothing. After much research, I learned that the problem was probably due to a bad "context menu handler" - possibly from a non-microsoft, 3rd-party program.
