I had some problem similar to this with the nividia dnls so I quit using them completely and removed the update. Still won't boot. Windows Vista Won't Start Black Screen

I can't remember for sure if I'm missing any steps, but for the most part it's self explanatory. I bought this laptop in October 2009 (bought on 9th, delivered on 28th). I have a Sony vaio computer, and I was running the OS windows vista home premium. HELP!?
